Tasmanian Constitution Society

The Tasmanian Constitution Society is a non-profit community organisation that campaigns for a return to a larger House of Assembly in Tasmania.

The objects of the Society are to:

INVIGORATEHold forums to invigorate the study of good governance
PUBLISHSupport the learning of members by publishing papers
EXAMINEPursue capable governance and the maintenance of effective ministries by examining the Tasmanian Constitution
REFORMIdentify and recommend such reforms as the Association may from time to time determine
RESTORESeek an Act of Parliament to restore the House of Assembly to 35 members
